Job summary

E‑Frontiers in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Software Engineer II to join our hybrid team working on Java, Spring Boot and React applications across legacy and microservices.

You'll contribute across the full software lifecycle, design and implement scalable solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage cloud platforms and Kafka to deliver secure digital payments and financial services for millions of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in software engineering with strong Java, Spring Boot and React expertise.
• Experience developing full-stack applications, working with cloud technologies, SQL databases and microservices.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, SDLC and modern engineering practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality is highly desirable.
• A collaborative engineer with excellent communication skills who enjoys mentoring others and solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and React.
• Build and enhance APIs, microservices and database solutions using Oracle/Postgres and Kafka.
• Take ownership of features from design through development, testing, deployment and production support.
