The Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Galway Platform Engineering team on a hybrid basis. You will design, build and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot and React, delivering REST APIs within a strategic enterprise programme with significant business impact.

You will engage with product owners, architects and senior engineers, contribute to architectural decisions, uphold engineering best practices, and mentor peers while ensuring scalable

Qualificações

• Strong commercial experience in full-stack software development.
• Excellent knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Experience building modern front-end applications using React.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and working with distributed systems.
• A solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including design patterns, automated testing and CI/CD.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
• Experience with Kafka, cloud platforms, event-driven architecture or test automation frameworks would be an advantage.
