Software Engineer in Test | Dublin | €475/day

I’m currently hiring for a Software Engineer in Test to join a high-performing engineering team in Dublin.

This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension, working on large-scale, commercial-grade software in a highly collaborative Agile environment.

The role is ideal for someone who is strong in test automation, performance testing and software quality, but also has enough development experience to work closely with engineering teams.

What you’ll be working on:

• Designing and implementing automated test solutions
• Developing functional, automation and performance tests
• Building and improving test automation strategies
• Performance scripting using Python and/or Shell
• Working with Playwright, Cucumber and TypeScript
• Supporting CI and TDD practices
• Contributing to technical and architectural decisions
• Working closely with developers and QA engineers
• Helping deliver highly maintainable, production-ready software

Key requirements:

• Strong experience in Test Automation Strategy and Tools
• Performance testing / scripting using Python or Shell
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Grails, Angular, PostgreSQL, CI/CD and TDD experience.

Dublin, hybrid – 2/3 days in office
