We are working with a large, established international organisation operating a highly sophisticated, technology-led environment. Their engineering teams build and support business-critical platforms used across global operations, with a strong focus on scalability, resilience and modern software engineering.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Software Development Lead with a strong Microsoft development background who can combine hands‑on technical expertise with leadership and delivery responsibilities.

You should have 6+ years' experience across software/application development or systems analysis, with particularly strong knowledge of:

• .NET Core, T-SQL, React.js and Kafka
• REST APIs and WebSockets
• Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022
• Microservices and distributed application architecture
• Docker and OpenShift
• GitHub and modern development practices
• Application and systems analysis

Responsibilities

You will take a senior role within an established engineering team, helping shape, build and deliver business-critical applications while ensuring solutions align with the wider technology architecture.

The role will involve working closely with engineering, architecture, infrastructure and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will contribute to application design, development and technical decision‑making while identifying opportunities to improve existing platforms and processes.

You will also help establish strong engineering standards across coding, testing, debugging and deployment, troubleshoot complex technical and business problems, and support the introduction of new functionality and platform enhancements.

As a senior member of the team, you will mentor and coach developers, provide technical guidance, help coordinate workloads and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
