Job summary

Solas IT Recruitment is hiring a Senior .NET Developer in Dublin on an initial six-month daily rate contract with a view to permanent. You will design, develop and deliver scalable applications for large-scale financial systems, applying your C#, .NET Core, React.js, and Kafka expertise.

The role requires mentoring other developers, guiding architectural decisions, and working across Product, Architecture and Infrastructure teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Six or more years’ experience in software or application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core.
• Strong T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Experience developing front-end applications using React.js.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven or message-based systems.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of WebSockets and real-time applications.
• Experience with Docker and OpenShift or a similar container platform.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, system design and software development best practices.
• Experience delivering complex applications within an enterprise environment.

Contract: Initial Six-Month Daily Rate Contract with a View to Permanent

My client is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a technology team responsible for developing a large-scale foreign exchange order management platform.

This is a hands-on development role offering the opportunity to contribute to technical design, influence engineering standards and provide guidance to other developers.

The position will initially be offered as a six-month daily rate contract, with the intention of converting the successful candidate to a permanent role.

The Role
