Job summary

Arachas is seeking a software developer/analyst to design, implement, and maintain systems that meet the changing needs of the business. You’ll manage new system implementations, upgrades, and work with internal clients and external partners to gather requirements, objectives, functions and features.

You’ll develop standard and ad-hoc reports for the management team, maintain procedures and policies, and apply best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Visual Studio development in VB.NET or C#.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and reporting solutions (SSRS, Report Viewer).
• Knowledge of SDLC and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with web services.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of Agile project management.
• Interest in Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server or Git is desirable.
• Experience with Salesforce and Power BI is a plus.
• Experience with Openi and Applied Relay applications beneficial.

Requirements

• Computer Science degree or equivalent

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and reporting solutions – SSRS, Microsoft Report Viewer
• Experience with software engineering best practices and SDLC
• Experience with web services
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft desktop products, especially Access, Excel & Word
• Knowledge of project management strategy, such as Agile
• Interest with Microsoft Azure or other cloud computing platform is desirable
• Knowledge of Team Foundation Server, GIT or other source control system is desirable
• Prior experience working on financial services systems is preferable
• Vendor management experience preferred
• Knowledge of Openi and Applied relay applications beneficial
