Job summary

Medforce Healthcare Recruitment is seeking Social Care Workers to join an Adult Mental Health Team across North and South Dublin. This role focuses on delivering person-centred support to adults with mental health needs and helping individuals achieve greater independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care or related discipline.
• Experience in mental health, disability, community or social care services desirable.
• Garda Vetting will be required.
• Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
• Develop positive, professional relationships with service users.
• Support individuals with daily living skills, community integration and independent living.
• Assist with development and implementation of individual support plans.
• Promote choice, dignity, independence and recovery.
• Work closely with families, healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records and complete relevant documentation.
• Support individuals to access community and social supports.
