Job summary

MCMA in Ireland invites a dedicated Social Care Worker to empower service users to lead dignified, independent lives within diverse community settings.

You will work in person-centred care, develop care plans, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, and document care in line with regulatory standards.

A Level 7+ NFQ Social Care degree and CORU eligibility are required; valid work authorization in Ireland and driving licence desirable.

Qualifications

• A Level 7+ NFQ degree in Social Care is required.
• Active CORU registration or eligibility progress is required.
• Valid legal permission to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Champion person-centred support for service users.
• Develop, implement, and review Care and Placement Plans.
• Support holistic wellbeing across emotional, physical, educational, and social aspects.
• Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports per policy.
• Hold a full, clean driving licence (desirable).
