Job summary

MCMA is seeking a dedicated Social Care Worker to join our team supporting residential units across Dublin and Meath. You will deliver person-centred care, uphold dignity, safety and independence for service users, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans.

Requirements include a recognised Level 7+ qualification on the NFQ in Social Care or equivalent, CORU registration (or in-progress application), and a full, clean driving licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 7+ qualification on the NFQ in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, Social Care Practice, or an equivalent approved qualification.
• Current registration with the CORU Social Care Workers Register, or proof of submitted application with an approved CORU qualification.
• A full, clean driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Champion the rights, dignity, and holistic welfare of service users.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and review Care and Placement Plans.
• Liaise effectively with families, social workers, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and professional documentation and incident reporting.
