Job summary

Delta Centre CLG is seeking a Social Care Worker to provide daily personal care and support to residents, while implementing and reviewing person-centred plans. The role emphasizes safeguarding, dignity, and enabling independence within Delta Centre policies and the HIQA/HSE framework.

The candidate will work in a 24/7 shift pattern, maintain accurate records, and foster positive relationships with residents and colleagues, contributing to continuous development and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Degree level 7/8 in Social Care / Social Studies or equivalent field is a requirement.
• CORU registered or CORU application submitted.
• Experience in social care is essential.
• Knowledge of The National Standards for Adults with Disabilities is important.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day personal care and support for residents.
• Implement and review person-centred plans for each resident.
• Ensure safeguarding and safety in line with policies.
• Maintain records in accordance with Delta Centre procedures.
