Job summary

Social Care Ireland is seeking a dedicated professional in County Carlow and County Wicklow to support service users in building independence and daily living skills. The role involves working on Person-Centred Plans and assisting with community integration.

Job description

Responsibilities include: Supporting service users to build independence and daily living skills, develop confidence, well-being and meaningful relationships and to participate in community, creative and social activities and also working with service users on their Person-Centred Plan and helping them to achieve their goals.

Criteria:

• Essential: QQI Level 7/8 Degree in Social Care, CORU registration as a social care worker or evidence of application submitted, full clean driving licence as driving is part of this role, knowledge of person-centred planning, new directions, excellent report writing and organisational skills, be able to demonstrate initiative, good interpersonal and teamwork skills, have a high degree of flexibility in responding to service need. Experience in disability services.

Salary: Depending on Experience
