Job summary

Avista CLG is seeking a SOCIAL CARE WORKER for our Community Residential Service in Limerick. Relief contracts with pro-rated hours and salary subject to public sector experience.

Candidate must have QQI Level 7 or higher in Social Care/Applied Social Studies (CORU eligible) and a full clean Irish driving licence for manual vehicles; proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in social care settings is desirable.
• Driving licence for manual vehicles is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide social care support in a community residential setting in Limerick.
• Support people with intellectual disabilities and their families in a person-centred manner.
• Collaborate with the Avista team to uphold HIQA standards and care planning.
