Job summary

TTM Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a Social Care Worker in Tralee, Kerry. Location: Childrens Residential Services, Tralee. Shift pattern: Days and Nights. Duration: 6 months.

The role involves providing care, supporting service users, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to maintain high care standards. CORU registration, relevant Social Care experience, and Irish work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care.
• CORU registration.
• Social care work experience.
• Must be a resident in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance required if lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after age 16.

Responsibilities

• Providing care and support to service users based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Assisting with basic skills such as feeding, washing, dressing.
• Encouraging and supporting service users to engage in their preferred activities.
• Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and with family members to ensure the highest level of care.
• Demonstrating empathy and compassion towards others.
