Qualifications

• Degree in Social Care (Level 7 or higher).
• Previous experience in Social Care is essential.
• Experience with intellectual disabilities and behaviours of concern desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Build positive, trusting relationships while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Assess, implement and review person-centred care plans in line with professional standards.
• Support clients with daily living activities and behavioural support where required.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver care in accordance with best practice and organisational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and complex support needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Assess, implement and review person-centred care plans in line with professional standards.
• Support clients with daily living activities and behavioural support where required.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for service users.
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver care in accordance with best practice and organisational policies.

Requirements

• Degree in Social Care (Level 7 or above)
• Previous experience in Social Care is essential
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and behaviours of concern is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred
