Job summary

AA Euro Healthcare is seeking Social Care Workers for relief and ongoing agency opportunities across Cork City. You will provide person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, promoting dignity, independence and community inclusion.

The role involves following individualised plans, supporting daily activities, and working with families, advocates and multidisciplinary teams, while adhering to HIQA standards and safeguarding practices.

We are looking for experienced and motivated Social Care Workers with a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

What You`ll Do

• Provide person-centred support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

Essential Requirements

• QQI Level 7/8 Degree in Social Care meeting the requirements for registration as a Social Care Worker in Ireland.
• Current CORU registration as a Social Care Worker, where required for placement.
• Relevant experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
• Experience working within residential, disability or high-support services.
• Knowledge and understanding of person-centred and rights-based approaches to care.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and HIQA standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Full clean driving licence with the ability to drive manual vehicles on Irish roads.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Garda Vetting or willingness to complete the process.
• Police clearance where applicable.
