Job summary

Daffodil Care Group is recruiting a Social Care Manager for our mainstream residential care service in Mallow, Co. Cork.

You will manage the residential centre and lead a team of Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders, working closely with the Director of Services to promote professional social care that delivers outcomes for young people and families. The role offers an attractive salary and ongoing professional development grants for teams and individuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 8 degree in Social Care with 3 years post-qualification experience in a children’s residential care setting.
• Alternatively Level 7 in Social Care with a management qualification and 4 years post-qualification experience in a children’s residential care setting.
• Strong experience in empowering others to achieve.
• Positivity, flexibility and problem-solving attitude as well as empathy and maturity are essential.
• A current full clean Driving License prior to commencement of employment.

Social Care Manager

Daffodil Care Services are currently recruiting a Social Care Manager for our mainstream residential care service in Mallow, Co. Cork.

As a Social Care Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the residential centre and for leading a team of Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders. Working closely with the Director of Services you will also be responsible for the modelling, leading, development and promotion of professional social care that delivers positive outcomes for young people and their families.

About the role

The successful candidate will possess:

• A minimum level 8 degree in Social Care and 3 years' post qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting.

OR

• Level 7 in Social Care and a relevant management qualification and 4 years' post qualification work experience in a children's residential care setting.
• Strong experience in and demonstrated ability to empower others to achieve.
• Personal attributes of positivity, flexibility and problem-solving attitude as well as empathy and maturity are essential.
• A current full clean Driving License prior to commencement of employment.
