Job summary

Daffodil Care Group is recruiting a Social Care Manager for our mainstream residential care service in Mallow, Co. Cork.

You will manage the residential centre and lead a team of Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders, working closely with the Director of Services to promote professional social care that delivers outcomes for young people and families. The role offers an attractive salary and ongoing professional development grants for teams and individuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 8 degree in Social Care with 3 years post-qualification experience in a children’s residential care setting.
• Alternatively Level 7 in Social Care with a management qualification and 4 years post-qualification experience in a children’s residential care setting.
• Strong experience in empowering others to achieve.
• Positivity, flexibility and problem-solving attitude as well as empathy and maturity are essential.
• A current full clean Driving License prior to commencement of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the residential centre and lead a team of Social Care Workers and Social Care Leaders.
• Collaborate with the Director of Services to model, lead, develop and promote professional social care delivering positive outcomes for young people and families.
