Cpl Healthcare, in partnership with our client in Kilkenny, is seeking a Social Care Manager for a residential service in Piltown. You will oversee the care provided to young people and lead the staff team to ensure adherence to policies, procedures and regulations, while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

The role requires Level 7 qualification in Social Care (or related field), a full clean driving license in Ireland, and substantial post-qualification experience with young people.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience with young people (if candidate holds a Level 8 degree).
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience with young people (if candidate holds a Level 7 degree).
• Full, clean, manual driving license (Ireland).
• Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.

We are accepting applications for the position of Social Care Manager. This service is based in Piltown, Kilkenny. The Manager carries responsibility for the care delivered to the young people living in the residential service and for the staff who deliver that care. S/he is responsible for ensuring that the care given meets with company policies and procedures and with national regulations and that the environment in which the care is given is homely, clean, safe and appropriate for the young people's ages and stages of development.

To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum level 7 in any of the following fields: Social Cae; Applied Social Studies in Social Care; Social Work, Social Care Management or related Social Care Qualification.
• Full, clean, manual driver's license (valid in Ireland)
• Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children's Residential Centres
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience, working with young people, if candidate holds a level 8 degree.
• Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience, working with young people, if candidate holds a level 7 degree.
