Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is partnering with a client in Carlow Town to recruit a Social Care Manager. You will lead the care of young people in a residential service and supervise staff to ensure high-quality support that aligns with policies and regulations.

The role requires a Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related field, a full clean Irish-driving license, knowledge of the National Standards, and at least 2 years in a management role.

Qualifications

• Minimum level 7 in Social Care, Applied Social Studies in Social Care, Social Work, Social Care Management or related Social Care qualification.
• Full, clean, manual driver's license (valid in Ireland).
• Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Minimum of 2 years experience at management level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care delivered to young people in a residential service and manage staff delivering that care.
• Ensure care complies with company policies, procedures and national regulations.
• Maintain a homely, clean, safe environment appropriate to the young people’s ages and development.

We are accepting applications for the position of Social Care Manager. This service is based in Carlow Town. The Manager carries responsibility for the care delivered to the young people living in the residential service and for the staff who deliver that care. S/he is responsible for ensuring that the care given meets with company policies and procedures and with national regulations and that the environment in which the care is given is homely, clean, safe and appropriate for the young people’s ages and stages of development.

To be considered for the role, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum level 7 in any of the following fields: Social Care; Applied Social Studies in Social Care; Social Work, Social Care Management or related Social Care Qualification.
• Full, clean, manual driver's license (valid in Ireland)
• Knowledge of the Irish National Standards in Children’s Residential Centres
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Minimum of 2 years experience at management level required for this post.
