Maynooth University is committed to a strategy in which excellent research and outstanding education remain deeply interconnected and equally valued. With students at the centre of this mission, undergraduate student recruitment plays a critical role in supporting informed student choice, widening participation and sustainable institutional growth.

Maynooth University is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Undergraduate Student Recruitment Manager – Undergraduate (EU) to lead and develop the University’s Undergraduate Student Recruitment team and contribute to the development and delivery of its undergraduate CAO recruitment strategy.

Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the postholder will provide strategic and operational leadership for undergraduate student recruitment activity, supporting growth in CAO applications while ensuring a high-quality, student-centred experience throughout the recruitment journey.

The postholder will lead a high-performing team responsible for outreach, engagement and relationship management across the second-level and Further Education sectors, working with schools, Guidance Counsellors, FE providers, parents/guardians and other key influencers in the student decision-making process.

The role will oversee a comprehensive programme of student recruitment activity, including school and FE engagement, Open Days, campus visits, exhibitions, information sessions, Guidance Counsellor engagement and digital recruitment. A key responsibility will be the analysis of recruitment performance, applicant behaviour, CAO trends and wider market intelligence. The postholder will work closely with Communications and Marketing, academic departments, Admissions and professional service teams to ensure coordinated student recruitment activity, consistent messaging and an excellent prospective student experience. They will also represent Maynooth University externally and develop strong strategic relationships across the second-level and Further Education sectors and relevant professional networks.
