Job summary

Ryanair is recruiting a Slot Desk Officer to join Europe's largest airline. Based at our Head Office in Airside Business Park, Swords, you will work in the Operations Control Centre on a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule including nights.

The role offers a starting package of €36,000 per annum plus a €6,000 annual bonus, with an increase to €38,000 after 12 months and a further €6,000 bonus. You will handle slot requests, monitor flight requests, and support aircraft allocations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process ad-hoc slot requests.
• Monitor ad-hoc flight requests to ensure slot applications succeed.
• Ensure end-to-end slot application updates according to operations performance.
• Develop solutions for day-to-day Slot Desk problems.
• Assist Flight Operations with cost-effective solutions to disruptions/delays.
• Compile reports as required.
• Monitor ATC messages and respond accordingly.
• Support aircraft allocations.
• Perform other duties as requested by Operations Control Management.

Ryanair are currently recruiting for aSlot Desk Officerto join Europe's Largest Airline!

Based in our Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords, the successful candidate will work in our Operations Control Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join Europe's leading airline and to gain experience in a busy working environment.

This is a shift based position on a rotating '4 on / 4 off' basis and would include night shifts

New increased pay with a starting package of €36,000 p/a plus an additional €6,000 annual performance based bonus.

Package increases to €38,000 p/a after 1 year plus €6,000 bonus.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Preparation and successful application of all ad-hoc slot requests
• Monitoring and actioning all ad-hoc flight requests to ensure successful slot application
• Ensuring end to end slot application - updating requests according to our operations on time performance.
• Developing and implementing solutions for day to day Slot Desk problems
• Assisting Flight Operations; cost effective solutions to Flight Planning disruptions/delays
• Compilation of reports as required
• Monitoring ATC messages and react accordingly
• Supporting aircraft allocations
• Any other duties as requested by Operations Control Management

Qualifications

A high degree of flexibility will be required as the successful candidate should possess:

• The ability to hold a Dublin Airport Airside ID
• The ability to work and communicate effectively under pressure
• Good problem solving and logistical skills
• Good interpersonal skills strong outgoing personality
• A good telephone manner
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Netline would be an advantage)
• A full driving licence
