Job summary

Ryanair is recruiting a Flight Planner to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group, based at Airside Business Park, Swords. The role operates on a 4 on / 4 off shift schedule with night shifts, working in the Operations Control Centre to support daily flight planning and operations.

The package starts at €40,000 per annum plus a €6,000 annual performance bonus, rising to €45,000 after 12 months with a further €6,000 bonus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement solutions for day-to-day Flight Planning problems.
• Assist Flight Operations with cost-effective solutions to disruptions.
• Compile reports as required.
• Monitor ATC messages and react accordingly.
• Prepare flight planning paperwork for crews.
• Update Aircraft Performance Data.
• Perform additional duties as requested by Operations Control Management.

Ryanair are currently recruiting for a Flight Planner to join Europe's Largest Airline Group.

Based in our head officein Airside Business Park in Swords, the successful candidate will work in our Operations Control Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join Europe's leading airline and to gain experience in a busy working environment.

*This is a shift based position on a '4 on / 4 off' basis and would include night shifts*.

Starting package of €40,000 p/a plus an additional €6,000 annual performance based bonus.

Package increases to €45,000 p/a after 1 year plus €6,000 bonus.

Duties will include (but not limited):

• Developing and implementing solutions for day to day Flight Planning problems
• Assisting Flight Operations; cost effective solutions to Flight Planning disruptions/delays
• Compilation of reports as required
• Monitoring ATC messages and react accordingly
• Preparation of Flight planning paperwork for crews
• Updating Aircraft Performance Data
• Any other duties as requested by Operations Control Management

Qualifications

• A high degree of flexibility will be required as the successful candidate should possess:
• The ability to work and communicate effectively under pressure
• Good problem solving and logistical skills
• Good interpersonal skills strong outgoing personality
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Netline would be an advantage)
