Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in window fitting, glazing or a similar role.
• Capable of carrying out installation and repair work independently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Examining drawings, measurements and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Removing existing windows, doors and damaged glazing and preparing openings for installation.
• Installing, fitting and securing window and door units.
• Measuring, cutting and positioning glass where required.
• Applying sealants, mastic, putty or adhesives and ensuring proper alignment and weatherproofing.
• Repairing or replacing damaged glass, windows and related components.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards.
