Job summary

KDM Hire Ireland is seeking a reliable HGV driver to deliver and collect equipment from customer sites across the North and South of Ireland.

Under the direction of the Transport Manager, you will perform load security, vehicle inspections, and timely documentation while maintaining high safety standards and customer service.

Location is Ballycoolin, Dublin with hours Mon–Thu 7:30am–5pm and Fri 7:30am–4pm; pay is €22 per hour plus overtime. Rotation may include evenings and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Driver Licence (Category CE) and Driver Qualification Card.
• Previous experience operating HGV vehicles.
• Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
• Ability to operate navigation systems and applications.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive HGVs to transport equipment to and from designated locations including loading/unloading.
• Conduct pre and post-inspections of equipment.
• Secure loads properly and safely for transport.
• Communicate with transport department, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
