Job summary

MigraBR is seeking a Carpenter (Category B) to join our team, working on residential and/or commercial construction projects in Sandyford, Dublin. Read and interpret technical drawings to determine job requirements; install timber components with hand and power tools; ensure accuracy and safety on site.

Two years of hands-on carpentry experience is required. Start date: 30/11/2026. Salary: €36,605 per year. Role based in Ireland and involves working in a safety-conscious team environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ hands-on carpentry experience.
• There are no formal academic entry requirements.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and collaborate effectively with others.
• Physically fit with manual skills suitable for construction tasks.
• Basic understanding of site safety regulations and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Select, measure, cut, shape, drill, and assemble timber structures and fittings in accordance with plans using hand and power tools.
• Install and fix wooden components such as doors, skirting boards, counters, partitions, decking, frames, shop fronts, furniture, and wooden templates.
• Check accuracy and alignment of work using squares, rules, spirit levels, and other measuring tools.
• Carry out maintenance and minor repairs on wooden structures and fittings as required.
• Work as part of a team while adhering to site safety protocols.
