Job summary

Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years' experience in engineering, industrial services, maintenance, construction or project delivery in pharma, manufacturing, industrial or process environments.
  • Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong operational and project coordination skills.
  • Experience preparing quotations, estimating works and managing customer relationships.
  • Experience within mechanical services, pipework, maintenance, commissioning, passivation or industrial services is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quotations, estimates and service proposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for business growth.
  • Monitor project costs, labour utilisation and departmental performance to maximise profitability.
  • Support the delivery of departmental sales and operational targets.
  • Manage projects from initial enquiry through to completion and handover.
  • Liaise with customers to understand requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Attend customer meetings, site visits and project reviews.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout all stages of a project.
  • Coordinate labour, subcontractors, equipment and materials across multiple projects.
  • Plan and manage daily activities of site service teams.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain clear communication between site personnel, customers and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
  • Carry out site inspections, safety reviews and toolbox talks.

Site Services Manager t

An established and growing engineering company is seeking an experienced Site Services Manager to lead its Site Services, Projects and specialist industrial services operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong engineering or industrial services background who enjoys balancing operational delivery with commercial responsibility. You will oversee day-to-day service operations, coordinate project delivery, develop customer relationships, manage quotations and estimates, and drive the continued growth of the division.

Working closely with customers, site teams, subcontractors and internal departments, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Business Performance
  • Prepare quotations, estimates and service proposals.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for business growth.

About You
Experience
  • 5-7+ years' experience in engineering, industrial services, maintenance, construction or project delivery within pharmaceutical, manufacturing, industrial or process environments.
  • Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors and multiple concurrent projects.
  • Strong operational and project coordination skills.
  • Experience preparing quotations, estimating works and managing customer relationships.
  • Experience within mechanical services, pipework, maintenance, commissioning, passivation or industrial services would be highly advantageous.
Qualifications
  • Degree, diploma, trade qualification or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mechanical Services, Construction Management or a related discipline.
  • Health & Safety qualification or certification is desirable.
