Job summary

Apple in Cork, Ireland is establishing a new EMEA SRE team within Enterprise Technology Services. You will own the reliability and scalability of the Insight ecosystem, supporting a multi-petabyte Big Data stack powering Apple manufacturing and insights globally.

You will shape operations, define observability standards, and drive automation and incident management across time zones, mentoring peers as the Cork team grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE/DevOps with cross-geography collaboration.
• Linux systems proficiency with troubleshooting.
• Programming in Python/Go/Bash and AI/ML in IT operations.
• Hands-on with AWS/GCP in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and scalability of Insight ecosystem services.
• Build and advance AIOps capabilities with ML-driven alerting and automation.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and drive incident response and post-incident reviews.
