Job summary

Back4good in Ireland is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure high availability and implement best practices for operational processes. Responsibilities include automation of deployments, managing monitoring and logging infrastructure, and supporting site issues. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience, strong skills in scripting languages, and familiarity with DevOps tools such as Ansible and Logstash. Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in SRE, DevOps, or production operations role.
• Hands-on experience scripting with Perl, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience automating Linux system provisioning.

Our partner client is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its growing team.

This position will focus on monitoring,alerting,deployment,automation and site/production issue mitigation/resolution.

The team you will be joining is expanding with growing responsibilities with plenty of opportunities to progress.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure high availability with adequate monitoring and instrumentation.
• Maintain and extend operational processes to ensure high reliability of entire technology stack.
• Implement best practice to manage utilisation optimisation and monitoring of cloud services.
• Handle deployments automation and instrumentation and conduct analysis to improve DevOps.
• Participate in daytime on-call rotation to support site and production issues.
• Manage computing and storage infrastructure if needed on private cloud.

Qualifications

• Experience automating Linux system provisioning.
• Experience with logging infrastructure and tools such as Logtash Elasticsearch Kibana Splunk and HDFS.
• Configuration management experience with Ansible Puppet Chef or Salt desired.
• You will require experience with DevOps tools processes and culture.
• 2-4 years experience in SRE DevOps or production operations role.
• Hands on experience scripting with Perl,Python or Ruby.
• Technical generalist knowledge of system administration Databases ,Network Platforms.
