Job summary

GCS Recruitment is hiring experienced Site Reliability Engineers to support the evolution of large-scale cloud platforms used globally across production environments. This hybrid Dublin role emphasizes cloud infrastructure, systems engineering and platform reliability over traditional Kubernetes-centric tasks.

You will engineer highly available cloud infrastructure, drive automation across provisioning, deployment and incident analysis, and develop Python-based tools to improve reliability

Qualifications

• Strong cloud infrastructure experience across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience operating customer-facing or business-critical platforms.
• Proven automation expertise.
• Strong Linux and systems engineering knowledge.
• Experience writing production-quality Python code.
• Understanding of infrastructure scalability and performance.
• Desirable: Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, Go or Rust, Platform Engineering methodologies, AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Unlike traditional SRE opportunities focused heavily on Kubernetes, this role places greater emphasis on cloud infrastructure, systems engineering and platform reliability.
