Job summary

The Land Development Agency in Ireland is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site construction for residential regeneration projects nationwide, joining the Construction Team. You will oversee works, ensure compliance with design and safety requirements, coordinate with contractors and the Employer's Representative, and report on progress.

Candidates should have a degree in Engineering and at least 3 years' experience as Site Manager or Resident Engineer, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Have at least 3 years' experience as Site Manager or Resident Engineer delivering residential projects.
• Degree in Engineering or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare Regulations and site safety practices.
• Willingness to travel between sites and to work unsupervised or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for on-site supervision of construction and ensure contractor carries out works per design.
• Organize adequate supervision of construction works on-site.
• Reporting to the Employer's Representative.
• Coordinating Contract interfaces and assessing contractor claims.
• Assessing contractor payment applications against work completed.
• Record detailed site measurements, correspondence and documentation.
• Attend site meetings and brief staff on work matters.
• Assist with contract administration under health and safety regulations.
• Record detailed reports and photographic evidence of works.
