Job summary

Conack Construction is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a Westport-based project in Ireland. You will take full ownership of site operations, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and ensure delivery to the highest quality, on schedule and within budget.

You will oversee safety, liaise with Project Managers and engineers, and drive continuous improvement on site. The role offers strong career progression and a supportive, inclusive work environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Site Manager role or similar.
• Strong background in construction site management.
• Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors on-site.
• Excellent organisation and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations in Ireland.
• Experience delivering construction projects in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from start through to completion.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and programme schedules.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and compliance.
• Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site issues efficiently to keep the project on track.
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings and specifications.
