Job summary

Established Main Contractor in Kilcoole, Wicklow, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day on a school construction project. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure on-program delivery, and uphold high quality and safety standards across the site.

The role requires proven site management experience with a main contractor and a strong ability to read drawings and manage stakeholders. On-site leadership and a focus on programme, quality and safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a main contractor.
• Experience delivering building projects from start to finish.
• Experience on education, commercial or public-sector projects is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and communication and subcontractor management skills.

Salary: €75,000-€85,000 + Package

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join an established main contractor on a school construction project in Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and organised Site Manager to take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure the project is delivered in accordance with programme, budget and quality requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
• Implement and maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and address delays.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and building regulations.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, consultants and client representatives.
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain quality control procedures.
• Manage site documentation, daily reports, progress records and relevant compliance documentation.
• Ensure the site is organised, efficient and professionally managed throughout the project.

• Previous experience delivering building projects from start to finish.
• Experience on education, commercial or public-sector projects would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations and construction practices.

• Relevant construction qualification and current Safe Pass.
