BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Site Manager for a building project in Dublin. The role can be permanent or fixed term and will involve leading on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring adherence to quality, safety and environmental standards.

Reporting to the Senior Site Manager, you will implement project procedures, maintain documentation, and drive handover activities. A Civil/Geotechnical engineering degree and fluent English are essential for eligibility in

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering high quality construction projects.
• Confident with IT packages and systems.

Responsabilidades

• Report to the Senior Site Manager and demonstrate understanding of construction management and subcontractor management.
• Implement the Project Management Plan and site procedures, maintain records and documentation.
• Ensure quality records are produced and works meet specified requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety Plans and BAM procedures.
• Set up and monitor handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation.
• Oversee site diaries, subcontractor attendance and progress.
• Manage direct and subcontract labour and allocate records.

We are looking for a Site Manager to join our team on a building project in Dublin. This role is open to both permanent and fixed term contract.

Making Possible

• Reporting to the Senior Site Manager you would be expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of the construction management role, management of subcontractors and have a proven track record of exceeding targets and achieving high scores in health and safety, environmental management and Considerate Constructor Scheme.
• Implement the Project Management Plan, including all site procedures and practices and completing records and documentation.
• Ensure that appropriate quality records are being produced and monitored to verify that the works are being completed in accordance with the specified requirements.
• Ensure compliance with the health and safety Management Plan and BAM Operating Procedures.
• Set up and monitor handover schedules, keys, spares and completion documentation.
• Ensuring BAM construction environmental procedures are implemented on site.
• Keep site diaries including records of subcontractor attendance and progress.
• Manage direct and sub contract labour and the keeping of records and allocation sheets.
• Advice on buildability issues as required.

What do you bring to the role?

• Experience in delivering high quality projects.
• Broad construction based technical experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical engineering or related Engineering field.
• Experience working on various types of Construction projects.
• Confident in the use of IT packages and systems.
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills
• Full driving licence.
• Must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
