Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is seeking a Site Manager (Client Side) to lead construction delivery for a large-scale solar PV project in County Tipperary, Ireland. The freelance role requires approximately four on-site days per week across a 12-month duration.

Candidates should have proven construction management experience in renewables, with civil or electrical bias welcome, and the ability to manage EPC contractors and interfaces independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management within renewable energy.
• Civil or electrical bias with broader project scope experience.
• Strong knowledge of programme, quality and HSE management.
• Experience managing EPC contractors or multiple subcontractor interfaces.
• Ability to operate independently and own site delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site activities and contractor performance during construction.
• Manage delivery against programme, quality and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate civil and electrical construction activities and interfaces.
• Monitor construction progress and identify risks to schedule or delivery.
• Ensure works align with designs, specs and project requirements.
• Provide progress reporting and maintain project records.
• Support handover through commissioning and completion.
