Job summary

Cairn Homes in South Dublin is seeking a General Foreperson to lead on-site safety, quality and successful project delivery.

You will oversee labour, subcontractors and suppliers from foundations through to finishes, coordinate logistics and site programmes, and liaise with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Trade background preferable.
• Ability to meet demanding time and quality targets.
• Good spoken and written communication.
• Methodical with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own health and safety management on the project.
• Understand delivery programme, weekly reporting; intervene to prevent delays.
• Attend and assist at daily whiteboard meetings.
• Inspect works on site; raise and resolve issues with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare daily allocation sheets for labour and materials.
• Manage civil engineering and groundworks contractor.
• Set up logistics walkways and routes for vehicles and pedestrians.
• Manage works from foundations to finishes and landscaping.
• Coordinate labour, machinery and materials on site.
• Maintain a safe site through robust health and safety practices.
• Coordinate subcontractors and service providers for timely handover.
• Liaise with engineering team on waste management records.
• Uphold Cairn brand with best-in-class customer service.
