Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks a Site Engineer/Site Manager to lead on Cork projects, with grooming towards Project Manager within 18 months. Mentorship by an experienced PM will guide progression. The role covers residential and commercial work with client and stakeholder liaison.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree, 5+ years in Ireland/UK, and proficiency with Total Station. Full driving licence required; salary circa €75k-€85k DOE plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with construction background.
• Experience on residential or civil/groundworks projects.
• Proficient with Total Station and surveying equipment.
• 5+ years with main contractor or sub-contractor in Ireland/UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site engineering and plan technical works.
• Set out using surveying tools to ensure accuracy.
• Liaise with design team to deliver drawings and specs.
• Direct subcontractors and suppliers per project plans.
• Supervise sequencing and monitor deadlines.
• Uphold Health & Safety and company standards.
• Contribute to design development and value engineering.
• Maintain professional image and effective communication.
