Job summary

SSA Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer/Site Agent for a Civils Contractor on a residential project in West Cork. The role starts on-site with potential to work on a range of projects as they progress. A permanent, long-term position is offered with a strong workload pipeline.

Requirements include a Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management, 1–2 years site experience, excellent communication, a positive can-do attitude, and a full clean Irish/European driving license.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and technical support to the Project Team.

• Promote and ensure high standards of Health, Safety and Quality.
• Supervise and manage sub-contractors.
• Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments.

I am seeking a Site Engineer/Site Agent on behalf of a Civils Contractor for a new project in West Cork which they have recently commenced work on. The company in question have a strong portfolio of ongoing and planned projects. You will be based on a residential project initially, and will have the opportunity to get involved in a range of interesting projects thereafter. The company have a lot of work in the pipeline so this is a permanent, long-term position with the company. Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: Providing administrative and technical support the Project Team Maintaining site record such as daily and weekly registers Surveying and setting out using Total Station, GPS Day-to-day supervision of site personnel Promoting and ensuring high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on projects Supervising and managing sub-contractors Assist in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments for construction activities And much more..
