Job summary

A construction company is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to oversee the daily inspection of work quality on-site in Ireland, Connacht. The successful candidate will manage systems that review progress against time and quality, ensuring project delivery aligns with customer expectations. Candidates must hold a degree in Construction Management or equivalent, possess a valid CSCS/CSR card, and have good communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required, along with a full driving license.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS / CSR card is required.
• Full Driving License needed.
• Excellent attention to detail and planning skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the quality of work onsite and ensure industry standards are met.
• Build relationships with Engineering team and sub-contractors.
• Manage systems to review the progress of work against quality and timelines.
• Implement test and inspection plans for all works on site.

Skills

Technical knowledge of engineering and best practices

Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Self-motivated

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD

Working knowledge of the complete Microsoft Office suite

Education

Degree in Construction Management or equivalent
