Farrans is seeking a Site Engineer to join our civil team in Ireland. You will inspect onsite workmanship, set out works, manage quality against plan, and support delivery within time and budget.

You will coordinate with engineers and subcontractors, drive safety on site, and implement inspection regimes to ensure compliance with industry standards. Key requirements include a degree in Construction Management or equivalent, CSCS/CSR card, driving license, and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS

Formación

• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent required.
• CSCS/CSR card required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with all stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative and motivate a team.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong working relationships with the Engineering team and sub-contractors.
• Assist in managing systems to enable progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, dimensions and quantity.
• Assist in recording and testing of workmanship and materials (drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork).
• Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances.
• Regularly check the setting out points and benchmarks and ensure instruments are calibrated and recorded.
• Ensure workforce understands setting out information for the type of work.
• Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control for accurate construction.
• Proactively manage Health and Safety on site.
• Implement a regime of test and inspection plans for all works on site.
