Job summary

Farrans is seeking a Site Engineer in Dublin to lead daily on-site quality inspections, manage setting out, and drive continuous improvements to deliver projects on time and within budget. You will work with the Engineering team and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Construction Management, a CSCS card, full driving license, and is proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
• CSCS/CSR card valid.
• Full driving license.
• Proficient with AutoCAD.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Self-motivated and able to lead a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and planning.

Responsibilities

• Inspect daily quality of work on site.
• Build relationships with Engineering team and subcontractors.
• Assist in managing systems to review progress against time, quality, dimensions and quantity.
• Record and test workmanship and materials (drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork).
• Set out works within allowable tolerances.
• Verify setting out points and calibration of instruments.
• Promote Health & Safety on site.
• Implement test and inspection plans for all works.
