Farrans Construction in Ireland is seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee daily on-site activities, mentor engineers, and ensure quality and safety standards are met on large-scale projects.

You will coordinate with the Site Agent and supervisors to keep work on schedule and within budget, maintaining setting out and dimensional control while supporting technical problem solving.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering large-scale civil engineering or water infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to plan works and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Valid Safe Pass card.
• Strong understanding of Irish regulations, Irish Water standards, and HSE requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail with strong planning skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior engineers.

Aufgaben

• Manage site engineers and support the Site Agent and supervisors with the day to day running of the site
• Support the site agent to deliver exemplary health, safety, environmental and quality performance
• Responsible for quality control, understanding of specifications, and DWI requirements.
• Provide engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered
• Take a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Responsible for providing and maintaining setting out and dimensional control, to ensure accurate construction of the work
