Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer for a major heritage renovation and extension project in Athlone. You will set out, level and survey works, and oversee site activities for an €18-20 million development delivering 55 residential units.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on large-scale residential or heritage refurbishment projects.
• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Strong technical knowledge of setting out and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set out, level, and survey site works per project specifications.
• Oversee and supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
• Manage and maintain site documentation and coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement on site.
• Promote the integration of sustainability and innovation throughout project delivery.
