Job summary

Coffey is hiring a Site Engineer for our Donegal civil projects. You will oversee delivery from planning to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with teams, clients, and authorities.

The role requires 3–5 years of site engineering experience, strong setting out and surveying skills, and a valid driving licence. You will support programme milestones and deliverables in a multifaceted project environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of site engineering experience on civil projects.
• Full driving licence (Irish or EU).
• Authorized to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site engineering activities, including setting out, surveying, site coordination and supervision of site personnel and subcontractors.
• Prepare project documentation including method statements, risk assessments, traffic management plans, programmes, technical reports, site diaries and as-built drawings.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, consultants, utility providers and authorities to support project delivery.
• Monitor quality, safety and environmental compliance, ensuring works meet company procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate labour, plant and material requirements, including procurement support and project reporting.
• Resolve technical issues on site and support programme management to achieve milestones.
