Job summary

Coffey is seeking a Senior Site Engineer based in Galway to oversee project phases and ensure timely completion. The role involves liaising with various teams, planning, and conducting site management in accordance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates should possess a degree in engineering and relevant experience, particularly as a Setting Out Engineer. Familiarity with water/wastewater engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 -5 years experience as a Setting Out Engineer.
• Preferably have studied modules in Water/Waste water.
• A member of the relevant Professional Institution.
• Relevant experience via work placements/volunteer placements.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with internal and subcontracted teams.
• Creating Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Carrying out post construction analysis.
• Maintaining records of any underground services laid on site.
• Supervising and monitoring the site labour force.
