Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is assisting a leading civil engineering contractor in recruiting Site Engineers to deliver high-quality projects in Dublin and the surrounding area.

You will be involved in setting out, site surveying, checking drawings, and coordinating with procurement and commercial teams on a range of civil infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is desirable; a degree in Civil Engineering with 2 years’ experience in Ireland/UK is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience on civil engineering projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Knowledge of setting out equipment including GPS, site engineer level and total station.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and site surveying on civil projects.
• Check technical designs and drawings to ensure compliance with plans.
• Assist the procurement and commercial departments as needed.
• Complete SHEQ forms and track site records.
• Manage labour and plant returns and perform daily site tasks.

Role:

• Setting out
• Site surveying
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Assisting the procurement department
• Assisting the commercial department.
• Completing SHEQ forms
• Tracking site records
• Completing labour and plant returns
• General site civil engineering daily tasks

Requirements:

• Must be graduating or hold a degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• Must have a minimum 2 years recent experience on Civil Engineering projects in Ireland or the UK
