Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead to own all electrical QA/QC activities on a major power generation project. This is a fully site-based role providing leadership to the QA/QC team and interfacing with client representatives, consultants, and commissioning stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years in electrical QA/QC or related quality management on power projects, with strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8+ years' experience in electrical QA/QC, commissioning, or quality management.
• Experience on power generation projects.
• Proven ability to lead site QA/QC teams and manage subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all electrical QA/QC activities across the project.
• Develop and implement quality plans, inspections and ITPs, and quality reporting.
• Oversee on-site inspection and testing for electrical installations.
• Review designs, submittals, test packs, and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with client, consultants, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Close NCRs and ensure corrective actions are completed.
