Brightpath Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a well-established civil engineering contractor in Mayo. You will lead daily site operations, coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, and manage short-term programmes to keep projects on track.

With 8+ years in civil engineering roles, you will drive safety, quality and environmental standards while collaborating with the Project Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget.

An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to join their team in Mayo. This is a key position within the project, with responsibility for managing site operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with agreed programme and quality standards.

You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, engineering team, subcontractors and other project stakeholders, taking a lead role in coordinating resources, managing site activities and keeping the project on track.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily site operations and ensure construction activities are carried out in a safe, organised and productive manner.

Direct and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring teams have the resources and information required to deliver their works effectively.

Develop and manage short-term programmes, coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractor requirements to maintain project momentum.

Work alongside the Project Manager and wider team to track progress, address construction challenges and implement solutions to avoid delays or disruption.

Promote and maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and environmental compliance across the site, ensuring all necessary records and documentation are maintained.

Requirements:

Relevant third-level qualification in Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

8+ years’ experience in a Site Agent, Senior Engineer or similar position within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.

Proven experience managing site teams, subcontractors and day-to-day construction activities.
