Job summary

Wellington Professional Recruitment is recruiting for a Site Agent / Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects for a civil engineering contractor in Ireland. You will coordinate crews, manage on-site delivery of deep excavation and pipeline works, and interface with the site management team on a long-term programme.

Ideal candidates have senior site experience on civils/utility projects, with qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; Water Hygiene and Safe Pass

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Agent / Senior Site Engineer on Civil / Utility projects.
• Experience coordinating works on live water/wastewater services.
• Third level qualification in Civil Engineering / Construction Management; relevant site qualifications can be provided.
• Temporary works qualification would be advantageous, training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver deep excavation / pipeline projects and supervise works on site.
• Interface with the management site team on a long-term programme of work.
• Deliver upgrades to Water and Wastewater Plants and address HSE concerns.
• Liaise with stakeholders and coordinate crews in the region.

Site Agent / Project Manager - Water / Wastewater Projects

Opportunity for a Site Agent / Project Manager to join a thriving Civil Engineering contractor delivering, water and wastewater projects within the Armagh, Fermanagh, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan area. You will need significant utility pipeline experience and team up with crews based in the region, carrying out new installations, repair and maintenance. As Site Agent / Project Manager you will be involved in the delivery of deep excavation / pipeline projects, you will interface with the management site team on a well-established long-term programme of work. Previous water utilities experience will be essential.

There is also an opportunity to deliver upgrades to Water and Wastewater Plants, heavy civils, water retaining structures, deep pumping stations, addressing HSE concerns, liaising with stakeholders and site management. To be considered for this Site Agent role you will have: Previous experience as a Site Agent / Senior Site Engineer working on Civils / Utility projects. Previous experience working on water / wastewater related projects, coordinating works on live services. Third level qualification in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering / Construction Management. Relevant site qualifications such as Safe Pass, Water Hygiene, Site Safety for Supervisors, First Aid at Work - training and card renewals can be provided. Temporary works qualification would be advantageous, training can be provided.
