Job summary
Wurth Ireland Ltd seeks a Shop Assistant for the Dundalk branch to provide knowledgeable, friendly, and dependable service. You will drive shop sales, promote our products, and deliver professional customer service while taking pride in maintaining a well-run store and supporting the branch team.
The role operates a 39-hour workweek, Monday–Friday, with occasional flexibility. Experience in construction/tools is a plus; full training and the chance to advance within a growing multinational are
Qualifications
- Experienced in selling with a strong ambition to succeed.
- Great communicator who loves helping people.
- People person with exceptional customer service qualities.
- Friendly, reliable, honest and enthusiastic.
- Background in construction, tools or automotive industry ideal but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Build effective relationships with customers through value-added selling.
- Identify sales opportunities and advise on our range of products.
- Aim to meet monthly sales and margin targets.
- Keep the shop clean and well-merchandised.
- Maintain stock levels in the store.
- Make telesales calls to customers.
- Keep workspace tidy and safe.
- Be security conscious at all times.
