Job summary

Mondelēz International in Rathmore, Ireland, invites applications for a Shift Manager on a temporary fixed-term basis of about 18 months. You will lead a manufacturing shift, align people, plant and processes to meet KPIs and operational targets, and drive continuous improvement across the shift.

You will oversee morale, safety, quality and delivery, work with the Plant Lead and other shift managers, manage absence and scheduling, and coordinate handovers.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing and developing teams in manufacturing.
• Role model for conduct: GMP, safety, integrity.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to think on their feet and make quick decisions.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for people, plant and performance on designated shift
• Responsible for morale, conduct and behaviour of shift team
• Ensure hourly shift targets are met including volume and GE delivery
• Escalate safety and production losses outside of shift
• Ensure safety of team and food safety of products
• Support shift reports and handovers to next shift
• Work with day-based teams to drive long-term improvements
• Own absence management and scheduling
